oh man, theres a lot this time around. if im not too lazy, there may be a few pictures attached at the bottom of this. i went to a battle reenactment at the local museum of military history, they had a lot of stuff there, howitzers, the only functioning flak 88 cannon in the states and i got to touch it!!!! i got to stand right next to it and take photos with it!!! it didnt fire. unfortunately, there was an issue with it they need to fix, but i was literally sitting next to the only functional one in the united states. the only one. on top of that they had a few shermans, an M4A3 105, and an M4A1 75, and there were a few M3 half tracks there too along with an M36 jackson tank destroyer, as a part of the reenactment, but outside of that, there were plenty other vehicles there owned by private collectors. i got to hold an m16 from a guys collection because he let us, which was really cool and i sent the picture to my girlfriends just to be a little silly, lol, i took like literally a hundred pictures (the folder on my pc is 2.36 gb and it isnt even all of the photos its like half) also now i have some .50 cal shell casings on my desk to go with the others cuz they let us go into the field where they fired them and pick some up, and there were a lot of guns, like, a lot a lot, so many, it was so cool to see all of the equipment

the flak 88 cannon (pictured left) and the sonderkraftfahrzeug 9 (kraus maffei half track, pictured right) the sd.kfz. 9 towed the flak 88.

a luger handgun (pictured left) and an m3 grease gun with stielhandgranaten (right) the mp40 was not next to the stielhandgranaten, or id have that here instead. that would be the typical loadout of an infantryman, an mp40, 1 stielhandgranate, and a p08 luger.

m4a1 sherman 75mm (pictured left) m36 jackson tank destroyer (pictured right) these two pictures were taken while they were passing before the reenactment. you can see the crews love doing this, it is clearly a thing they enjoy doing.

m4a3 sherman 105 (pictured left) m3 half track (pictured right) these are the other two american vehicles there. the m4a3 sherman here is mounted with a 105 millimeter howitzer cannon, the m3 half track can be seen with troops performing its intended role of troop transport. it defended the troops from small arms fire.

the 105mm tank shell, i am unsure of what tank this one was used in. (pictured left) the assortment of shells ranging from 75mm smoke shells to 105mm high explosive shells. (pictured right) this one is pretty self explanatory, ammunition types used by various tanks.

what i believe to be an abbott 443 [fv433] self propelled howitzer (pictured left) and a maschinengewehr 34 light machine gun (pictured right) im running out of matching pictures that are interesting at this point, have an mg 34 and an abbott.

the last image i have here, here is a p38 next to the iconic m1911. -Kamelia :3
